You will be part of our Development Department in Karnov Group Nordic, consisting of 6 dedicated agile development teams. Projects are undertaken by small agile teams in close collaboration with the Products Department securing that our customers have relevant and updated content at hand 24/7. We have a “you-built-it-you-run-it mindset”.

Besides the above you:

• Design, implement, and maintain robust data pipelines and solutions, that support our GenAI/NLP infrastructure.
• Follow established standards and practices for AI system development and deployment as well as provide input for these.
• Engage in AI system development and MLOps activities, taking ownership of the deployment, maintenance, and validation of AI models.
• Use statistical techniques when withdrawing insights from data and ensure data quality and reliability.
• Implement GenAI and NLP approaches by working closely with other AI Developers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand data requirements and implement solutions accordingly.
• Perform data exploratory tasks to extract actionable insights from large datasets.
• Work closely with stakeholders to understand business objectives and translate them into technical requirements.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.

About you

You succeed in the role if you are an entrepreneurial spirit who has the technical vision as well as the capability to roll up your sleeves and translate needs into practical technical solutions. You thrive when collaborating with other development teams to integrate AI solutions effectively. You are passionate, ambitious, and you take ownership. You seek to constantly acquire new knowledge, to stay up to date within your field, and to challenge yourself. You use your experience building pipelines for preprocessing, and from deployment and monitoring of Machine Learning models (preferably GenAI and NLP). You get to put your excellent problem-solving and analytical skills into play when communicating and collaborating with ML engineers, Data Scientists and colleagues in the entire department.

Expected competencies and experiences:

• You hold a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, or bring similar experience.
• You have proven experience building pipelines for preprocessing, deployment and monitoring of Machine Learning models (preferably GenAI and NLP).
• You have experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration tools (Flyte, Kubernetes) as well as modern cloud architectures to build these pipelines (GCP)
• You bring excellent Python development skills and Python/ML ecosystem tools (Pytorch, Pandas, Sklearn, Numpy).
• You are proficient in a Scandinavian language.
